Sigh…

On my wish list is this beautiful Leather Aviator Jacket. I’m still on this kick of wanting an Aviator jacket that fits my two requirements, which are the following: real leather and (not really a requirement because it would make it super expensive) lambs wool or shearling, something warm and is real not that fake crap.

Look at this hot piece of leather:

It’s so pretty!

Now I’m the type of girl who will torture herself by looking at fashion websites and fall in love with a few things. Then I’ll day dream about what ever it is I fell in love with, and then I’ll go through this small obsession over it, until I do one of the following:

1) I buy the item in which I am so infatuated with.

OR

2) I attempt to let the obsession pass because it’ll probably be a short lasting    fashion fad, and I won’t like in a little while.

Now this latter option is usually what happens. I usually ask myself well when I’m ever going to wear it? Are the materials and design even worth the price?  This question applies to the jacket especially, because if they aren’t good materials, then it won’t do the job of keeping me warm. Other questions include; Am I going to wear this? Do I have anything to match? This is why I try not going shopping by myself because I end up in an endless debate with myself over whether or not this particular item is worth it. It’s so exhausting!!!!

This especially applies to make-up. Shopping for make-up SUCKS! You can go to Sephora or where ever you go. Get recommendations by the sales people, buy it, try it, and maybe it works maybe it doesn’t. Let me tell you about my latest adventure.

A couple weeks ago I went on a cruise. Before going, I went to Sephora to use my eagerly anticipated giftcard, thankyouverymuch! Having gone already and getting good recommendations from their people (who were very excellent) I get suckered in (as usual) to buying something else, that I shouldn’t have gotten. This shit fucking sucks, and it really pissed me off. Now let me be straight, the product itself isn’t really a problem other than the fact that it has oil (for someone who can’t have oil in her products, because I’m so fair skinned and tiny pored) and it doesn’t cover-up shit.

Now at the time I bought three products: Powder, foundation, and under eye concealer, which are shown below.  Now the powder is eh, okay I guess, the foundation sucks and the under eye concealer is fantastic, I’ve never had such good under eye concealer. The main problem with these first two products is that they come in these super stupid containers! the amount of product that comes in the containers also is so small it just doesn’t last! These containers are supposed to be good because they’re easily portable. All you have to do is press the button on the back of it and it dispenses a little bit for you. Well, because I was going on cruise I was excited because I didn’t have to pack as much, I just didn’t notice that the foundation came with .63 ounces!! The foundation only lasted the week! I get back and no more would come out! It was already done with! Needless to say I’m really annoyed, and if I get suckered in to buy crap like this again I’m to tell them to shove where the light don’t shine!

Back to my point, this is why I go through an avalanche of haunting questions when I buy something, it is exhausting, annoying but usually it protects me from stupid shit like make-up. Grrr those sales people were the WORST!

P.S.

I sincerely apologize if this post is similar to mental vomit, because it is.
